I grew up huddling under the staircase, listening to my mom's vinyls on the gramophone. That's where I discovered music - and I knew from the age of three that it was EVERYTHING to me.

This music is a time capsule, it captures a lot of the influences that inspired me at the time of this young love affair. A relationship that crashed and burned in the worst ways, leaving two people hurt and heartbroken. Sometimes love is an escape, it's a way to try to save yourself from the reality you're in. And the expectations on the other person become insurmountable. It's bound to fail. The young, wild, passionate love blinds you. And when the dust has settled you see - it was never about the other person, your pain was your own and you need to heal yourself, save yourself, love yourself.
